Elder Kim and Elder Steffen, who is headed for home next transfer

Elder Kim had to do a baptismal interview in the small town of Tomar.
The walk from the train station was about an hour and a half, thru
farming country, to the home of the prospective member.
He was baptized and confirmed on Sunday.

Lots of olive orchards in Tomar. The above trees are still very young.
Olive trees, especially the root systems, can live for hundreds of years,
with the proper care.

A view of the small village of Tomar.
Pictured is Elder Bortolo in the suit. He served with Elder Kim in Coimbra previously.
He returned to Coimbra, and is presently serving there. Elder Kim and him originally
found and taught this sister, who was baptized this past week.
