Aloha família!
Tania, Miguel, Elder Kim |
It’s been a pretty good week this week, and I’m grateful for the
opportunities I’ve had to serve during this week.
We are teaching a few cool families, and things are looking
good! Miguel and Tânia are doing well, reading from the Book of Mormon, and
saying their prayers. The spirit is always strong in their home, and they
really want to follow, God but with the work he has now it’s just impossible.
So for now, they aren’t on date for baptism, but they do want to follow God and
when the timing is right they will be!
Sadly,
Marcelo and Mônica aren’t progressing right now, but we’ll see if we can meet
up with them this week.
I’ve
given a better report on my video thing for this week of how things went. (Be warned: It is long and unedited)

I’ve been thinking a lot about the importance of hope, and also
the faith sufficient to trust in God. Without hope, there is nothing to look
forward to. No light within the darkness. Its bleak. But with Jesus Christ we
can have hope. He is the light and the life of the world. We can do it. It can
be hard to see that sometimes, and if not to see, accept and understand that.
But I know that faith is not a perfect knowledge, and that as we do our part,
acting accordingly to what we know is right, moving forward, that we can be
blessed with the faith and the hope to continue. It all starts with our desire,
if we will let it operate in us. I know that God knows us. He understands us,
and as He’s said, He stands with open arms to help us. I am grateful for the
love that He has for us, and the opportunities that we have as missionaries to
share the blessings of the gospel with everyone.
Family, I love you guys! Hope you guys have a great week! Please
keep up the great work, and don’t lose sight of the mark, Jesus Christ! Vos amo
(I love you)!
