Aloha Família!
This
week was actually pretty good. Not as good as we hoped or planned, but we did
our best, so no can complain. Could've been worse I guess, haha.
The
first few days of the week were kinda hard on us because Élder Maloy had sore
throat and fever. He hit 103˚F one time! Not good! We went doctor though, and
we got some meds. He's getting better. He's a trooper.
We
found some cool Brazilian youth that we taught for a couple days. Sadly, they
were only here for a couple more days, so we'll have to wait till they come
back to teach them again. Was super cool though because the Spirit was always really
strong, and they just understood everything! It was kind of awesome to have
someone just understand so easily!
We
also went to a funeral of a man from the ward. What was interesting was that
last week Sunday we had been called to give this man a blessing. So we gave the
blessing. I felt prompted to also offer the wife a blessing, and she accepted.
After we left, they went hospital and he passed away. I was super grateful for
the opportunity that we had to serve as God's
hands right there at the end to give him a blessing. I'm so grateful for the knowledge
that we have about the Plan that God has for us, that life doesn't end with
death, and neither does our progress, knowledge, or our relationships!
I
had to jump thru our neighbor's window onto our balcony on the 3rd floor cuz we
got locked out of our house, and we had a pizza guy waiting for us downstairs
haha. #survived #buckwild
I
think that's about it for this week. Fam, stay strong, keep going hard, keep
doing your best! You guys are awesome! Thanks for your guys' examples! Tenham
uma boa semana! (Have a good week!)
